Leprechaun Lawns Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of leprechaunlawns.ca (the “Site”) and any services purchased from Leprechaun Lawns operating as Leprechaun Lawns (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our Site, requesting a quote, or purchasing any service from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

1. About us

Leprechaun Lawns is the operating name of Leprechaun Lawns, an Alberta corporation.

2. Services we offer

We provide residential and commercial lawn care, fertilization, weed control, pest control, lawn aeration, dethatching, overseeding, snow removal, and exterior and seasonal lighting services within our published service area.

Our service area currently includes: Calgary, Chestermere, Airdrie, Okotoks, Carstairs, Crossfield, Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Didsbury, Strathmore, Langdon, Carseland, Innisfail, Blackfalds, Cochrane, and Bearspaw, Alberta.

We may decline to provide services to any property that is outside our service area, or where conditions make safe, effective service impossible.

3. Quotes and pricing

  • Quotes are free and non-binding until you accept them.
  • Quotes are based on the size of the front yard, measured by satellite imagery or in-person inspection.
  • Published prices for our Bronze, Silver, and Gold programs apply to average-sized lots. Larger or unusual properties may be quoted at higher prices, which we will communicate to you before any service begins.
  • Prices include all required materials and labour for the listed services.
  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.

4. Promotional offers

We run seasonal promotions and special offers from time to time. Each promotion has its own terms, which we communicate at the time of the offer. Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • Promotions apply only to new customers (no prior services purchased from us).
  • Promotions cannot be combined with other offers.
  • Promotions have a fixed end date; bookings made after the end date are not eligible.
  • Promotions are subject to capacity limits and may be withdrawn early if capacity fills.

Specific terms – May 2026 Free Liquid Aeration:

  • Available for new customers only.
  • Available only with the purchase of a Bronze, Silver, or Gold seasonal program.
  • Booking must be completed and program must be paid in full between May 1, 2026 and May 31, 2026.
  • The free liquid aeration is performed during the regular spring application schedule for your property.
  • Has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for other services or refunds.

5. Service guarantee

We guarantee every program we sell. If you are not satisfied with the results of one of our applications – including weeds returning, missed spots, or unresponsive turf – contact us and we will return to your property to re-treat the affected area at no additional charge.

This guarantee is subject to the following:

  • You must contact us within 30 days of the application in question.
  • The guarantee covers re-treatment only. It does not cover refunds, compensation for plant or property damage caused by environmental factors outside our control, or services that were declined or interrupted by you.
  • The guarantee does not apply if the lawn is being damaged by factors outside our control (e.g., pet urine, neighbour run-off, vehicle traffic, or improper homeowner watering).
  • The guarantee does not apply to one-off add-on services unless explicitly stated when you purchased them.

6. Cancellation, refunds, and changes

Cancellation by you:

  • You may cancel a seasonal program at any time before the first application has been performed for a full refund.
  • Once the first application has been performed, you may cancel future applications. Refunds for unused applications are calculated pro-rata based on the per-application value of your program.

Cancellation by us:

  • We may cancel and refund your program if conditions on your property make safe service impossible (e.g., locked or aggressive pets, unsafe terrain, hazardous materials present).
  • We may cancel and refund your program if you have not made required payments.

Schedule changes:

  • We will notify you in advance of each scheduled application by email or text.
  • Severe weather, equipment failure, or other operational factors may require rescheduling. We will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs.

7. Pet and family safety

We use products that are selected for safety around families and pets. After each application, we recommend keeping pets and children off the treated areas until the application has fully dried – typically less than one hour, depending on weather conditions.

If you have specific concerns about a product we use, please ask before service begins. We will provide product safety information and, where reasonable, accommodate alternative products or schedules.

Despite our best efforts, individual pets or family members may have unique sensitivities to lawn products generally. If you have concerns about an existing health condition, allergy, or sensitivity, please consult with a veterinarian or physician before booking service.

8. Your responsibilities as a customer

  • Provide accurate information about your property, services requested, and any pets or sensitive plants on the property.
  • Ensure that the property is accessible to our crew at the scheduled application time (gates unlocked, dogs secured, vehicles moved off the lawn).
  • Pay for services on time and as agreed.
  • Notify us of any concerns within a reasonable time so we can address them under our service guarantee.

How long we keep your information

  • Quote and contact information – kept for up to 2 years after your last interaction, then deleted unless you become a customer.
  • Customer records (active customers) – kept for the duration of our service relationship and up to 7 years after your last service, to comply with Canadian tax and accounting law.
  • Marketing-consent records – kept for 3 years after consent is withdrawn, as proof of compliance with CASL.

Website analytics data – anonymized after 14 months and aggregated only.

9. Acceptable use of our website

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or our systems.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form or contact channel.
  • Scrape, copy, or republish content from the Site without our written permission.
  • Use the Site to harass, abuse, or threaten any person.

10. Intellectual property

All content on leprechaunlawns.ca – including logos, brand marks, photographs, copy, and the leprechaun mascot – is owned by Leprechaun Lawns or licensed to us, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of this content without our prior written permission.

Customer reviews, photos, or testimonials we publish are used with the contributor’s permission. If you have submitted content that you would like removed, contact us using the information in Section 14.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Alberta law:

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services or these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in question during the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business, or reputation.
  • We are not liable for damage caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, vandalism, third-party trespass, or environmental conditions affecting your property.
  • Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited by Alberta law (including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by our negligence).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Leprechaun Lawns, its officers, employees, and contractors harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) inaccurate information you have provided to us; or (c) any third-party claim arising from your acts or omissions in connection with our services.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our services will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted at leprechaunlawns.ca/terms with the “Last Updated” date shown. Material changes will be communicated through our website or by email if we have your address on file. Your continued use of the Site or our services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
